my frnd gave me his ip adress to access his computer to collect my his notes frm hi computer

Tell your friend to access the Remote Access Program on his computer. Follow the instructions and invite you to access his computer. It is that simple.

It is simple as your question your friend intensly give you the IP address for accessing his computer for downloading the notes. It means your friend has set up a ftp server on his computer. If so then you just type the IP addtess like ftp://10.10.10.198 it will work. If above is not the case then assume you have a mobile with sim but you do not know the number and you have no money to recharge it. So you have IP but .........

You simply type the IP address into your web browser. This is assuming your friend has properly set up his computer to allow access in such a way.

Have him share out a drive...then map the drive using the ip address\folder name.

well this is a really stupid question, but if you really want an answer, well you could test some common ports or use a port scanner, and well, it's really impossible to tell you what to do next, it's like telling you how to problem solve... ya just nvm lol
well ya you could type it into ur web browser if he has ftp set up, but i highly doubt that

or more simple using msn messanger
