WELL FIRST U NEED TO GET A TRACKING NUMBER THEN U CAN GO TO THE WEB SITE OF UPS, FED EX, WHERE EVER SHE SENT IT FROM AND CHEK IT ONLINE. SO IF SHE HAS A RECEIPT, ASK HER TO FIND OUT THE TRACKING NUMBER.
ALSO, U SHOULD HAVE GOT IT ALREADY. SO CHECK IT OUT ASAP.
HOPE I HELPED!

depending on which way your friend sent the package. If they did it through the post office they should of obtained some sort of tracking number unless they sent it regular mail instead of priority or some special method through the post office. If they have a copy of the reciept and it has a bar code on it use that long # on there and go to the usps website and track it from there. If they used a carrier such as UPS or Fed Ex or even DHL they should have tracking # and go to the respected site of the carrier and enter the tracking #. I have done this with internet orders in the same fashion. The only drawback is like I stated if it is regular mail then i don't think you'll be able to track the package. Good luck.

If it's from Germany, most likely it went express since that's what most global mail is sent via. It should have a tracking number on the receipt. I'm not really sure how Germany works but I send / receive a lot of things from Korea and China. The post office always gives them some kind of tracking number.
Otherwise, there really isn't anything you can do. Your friend should have made sure there was some kind of tracking to go with your package :(

You can't track it unless your friend got a tracking number when it was sent. Shipping is odd, I got a package from Japan to Maine in 2 days..That has happened 3 times so it wasn't a fluke. I got a package from Germany in 4 weeks.
The one from Japan came to NY and I could track it every drop and pickup all way up the coast. The one from Germany, came to Florida and from there I never saw a tracking update till it got to my door.
It all depends on how it was shipped.

Your friend should have been given a track number when she sent the package. Plus it's Christmas time. Everything takes longer by mail this time of the year. Merry Christmas!

How was it shipped? With Fedex or Ups they provide a tracking #. If it takes up to 2 weeks for a letter from Canada to the USA, it can take almost a month from another country.

I know from shopping on e-bay alot that my packages that from Germany, Hong Kong, or outside of the US, takes anywhere from two weeks to three weeks, especially the post-office are so busy around the holiday seasons, I would wait another week.

You have to find out if it was mailed by "Airmail" or non Airmail which is by sea; it can take up to 6 -8 weeks. If by airmail it can take up to 2 weeks. How big is the package? Iif she did not insure it and it got lost- its bad for both of you.

You should get the tracking # from your friend. That would be the first step.
