I would concur, I am a big fan of pigtails. They give off a vibe that says fun, easy-going, young at heart and at the same time they always look gorgeous.
Pigtails can be incredibly sexy.

Pigtails are always cute.
Maybe low, around the front of the neck.
And try braiding them and putting ribbons of your team's color(s).
