"For God so loved the world that he gave His only begotten son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life." john 3:16
This time of year is NOT about presents, trees, lights, candy, spending, shopping, or religious rituals. Not even about family or giving for those things should be cherished and done all year 'round. This is about God sending us our only way to salvation, wisdom, peace and heaven 2000 years ago, His son Jesus. BELIEVE in Him, READ His word (bible), FOLLOW what you read, TURN from sin. The kingdom of heaven IS at hand! God bless you all this season~

As I get older, I realize the real message of Christmas is being kind to each other. Loving your friends and family. Being there for others when they need you, and the biggest message of all is that Jesus is real. He was born for us, and we should give a little bit more time to whichever faith you were raised in, because there is a spiritual power for all of us. Whether you believe or not.

The traditional message in Christianity is joy, peace, the promise of salvation. The Birth of the Unique Person of all ages.
Today, I like to think at least goodwill to all, joy, and gratitude prevails with many of us.
Thanks for asking.

You know how you feel at Christmas, the children, Santa, good will, midnight service, all things which are uplifting that is the message, it is a pity it only lasts for a few days. Ho Hum.
And I am not religious.

Giving something to those less well off than ourselves.
As we get older and the World gets smaller...we see things in a different light.
We in Britain and the western world are very well off compared to others in this world.
For myself, I have donated a sum of money to an orgnisation called SMILE TRAIN..(visit their web page)...and I dare you not to feel moved by the plight of these people.

For me as a Pagan, it's a time to celebrate the days getting longer (post Solstice) and the promise of new life from the land in springtime.

Peace to all Men. Never happens nowadays though. We are all too consumed in guessing what present we are getting for Christmas and stuffing our faces.

A time to think about someone else. Share with those who don't have anything to eat and spend time with those members of your family you havent seen in ages.
