If not, why not? And if so when and what team issues need to be addressed in order for him to do so?

Yes he will. Peyton is incredible. Probalby the most elite QB minds in the league. They just need help on their defense. One guy can not win the SB. You can have the best QB in the world but if defense can't stop the run then its not good.

Never. He is the Dan Fouts of the the NFL now. Dan Fouts was a great QB with the Chargers. One of the best passers with a great offense. He couldn't get to the Super Bowl because he couldn't play defense. Peyton Manning is in the exact same situation.

Eli Manning will get to a Super Bowl before Peyton does. Thats because the Giants have a young defense.

I think Peyton Manning would make a good back-up to the great Jake Delhomme! But on topic, if Peyton Manning can play defense as well then he can, but unless he goes to another team (which is highly unlikely) or his team can start playing some defense then. He had his chance last two years, with Edge James and a decent/good defense and they blew it.

Defense is what needs to be addressed. You could say it's Manning's fault for having such a fat contract to begin with. If he would've taken less money (and in reality, he makes SO MUCH from endorsements these days, it wouldn't have mattered) and let them sign some defensive guys, maybe they'd be better off.

I do think he'll win a championship, later in his career like Elway did, except he won't need to lose a bunch of Super Bowls before winning it.

Manning has never won a game, whether it was in high school, college or the NFL, that carried championship significance. I don't see him doing it in the future, a great and extremely talented QB who chokes in the clutch, similar to Marino.

No, for some unbeknown reason he always chokes at the end of the year. Also the Bears are not that good they should have 4 losses.

I hope so. He is my all time favorite player and I think he deserves it.
The team has some HUGE run defense issues though..i hope they can resolve them before the playoffs.

Prob not. Maybe if he let up on shilling for all his endorsements, he could fine tune his playing ability and encourage his defense. Sry, but getting tired of his face in commercials. Nice guy, tho. :-)

Yes? The only way that I can see him winning is if he were to leave the colts. He would need to take his offensive backfield with him.

Not unless he gets a team that can also play defense.
