So i found the trojan 9129837.exe on my computer with avg, these are vaulted and a program file search does not bring them up anymore, but i did a google and read about it, and says this trojan creates a file HIDE_EVR.SYS this is coming up on a search. Should I delete this file? or is it a legitmate file? Should it be done in safe mode?

I have no experience with this particular Trojan, but you may want to download these 4 FREE helpers, all are legit and have very good reputations

I would start with "MICROSOFT WINDOWS DEFENDER" - http://www.microsoft.com/athome/security... - Several great features, Authentic Microsoft program

Also other VERY good free programs are

"AD-AWARE" From Lavasoft - http://www.lavasoft.com/ - Rated # 1 in this war

"SPYBOT SEARCH & DESTROY -
http://www.download.com/spybot-search-de... - prevents ANY registry change without YOUR permission

"SPYWARE BLASTER" - http://www.download.com/spywareblaster/3... - Automatically loads known harmful sites into your restricted list in your browser explorer.

All of thse have been proven invaluable, not only to me, but to everyone I talk to about them and are a MUST have.

Good luck.
