The argument is always who's most valuable to his team vs. who's the best player. I think the fact that LT broke a major record that was just set last year (shattered it really, three weeks early) gives him the edge for MVP. I do think that without LT, the Chargers are still a decent team. Michael Turner is a good enough back to give them a good ground game. But if Aaron Brooks was still in New Orleans instead of Drew Brees? Forget it...even with Reggie Bush and Deuce McAllister.

LT + 29 tds and counting = MVP
Chargers will make it to the Super Bowl and face the Cowboys. The Chargers win 35-24 and LT is the Super Bowl MVP

The "whose team would be worse without them" argument shouldn't come into play because how could anyone really know? It's all speculation. I think you have to go by who has done more for their team. L.T. has put more points on the board than Brees, and there's been six games this season that L.T. has made game-changing plays in, and four games where he completely carried the offense. To me the choice is a no brainer, L.T. for MVP. Brees for comeback player of the year.
And Chargers will win the superbowl, with L.T. as the SB MVP as well.

theirs a season mvp and a superbowl mvp you know, but anyway, LT has got to be the mvp this season hands down, hes got 3 more games to add touchdowns in, he may kill the record and i hope he does, anyone who cant see he deserves the mvp is blind

in my view i think of LT is going to disappoint a super type of folk this season. all and sundry is waiting for such great things from him, particularly now that he would be getting the ball much greater. severe expectancies are continuously the main downfall of gamers and communities... in simple terms look on the Denver Broncos and Jake Plummer final season, he replaced into meant to steer them to the superbowl after the upset contained in the AFC championship the 12 months previously... now look at him.

It is right now the middle, 50-50.
I wouldn't be upset if both won.
I guess I am kinda voting for LT though.

Well, it's called most VALUABLE player, not best player so I think Drew Brees wins this award considering how much of a difference he has made for that franchise.

If Brees throws for over 5K yards this season he will win......however I think we may end up with co-mvp's this year.
