Question about cervical mucus?

I had egg white stretchy mucus when ovulating (tinged with dark blood, whih i was told a good sign that the ovary released an egg). from ovulation day till now (DPO 10 or 11) I am still seeing clear mucus, but it is much less in quantity and doesn't stretch. My boobs are larger and tender ( noticed 3 days ago, which is unusual for me). My period is due in 5 days. HPT today negative (not a very sensitive test). Question : does the continuence of the somewhat ewcm a sign i am pregnant?

A woman can have what looks to be like fertile CM after ovulation even though it really isn't fertile at that point, naturally.

Are you sure you ovulated when you thought you did (charting, etc)?

It still could be really early to test. Even some of the "early" tests don't work for some women as it just depends each person's rate of producing the HCG.

You could be, although it seems a little too early to have pregnancy symptoms. Usually they start 3 to 5 weeks dpo. I do have mucus from the time i ovulate until my period starts. It changes in consistency, but i do get it the entire time.

cervical mucus does not really tell you if your pregnant or not. sometimes pregnant women and non pregnant women got the same looking discharge. pregnant women have a little more discharge than a non pregnant women. egg white stretchy mucus usually means your ovulating. i think you should take a test when you miss your period.

It could very well mean your pregnant, especially if your breasts are tender. However, your pregnancy test probably won't be accurate until you're past your period starting date.
