people I feel do like to help others. I like to help others but feel and have been rejected in the past.
By sharing experiences and knowledge gained by experience I feel by not sharing this with others is extremely selfish.
We also do this for ourselves, I am no different. I like thinking of my past, or thinking of experiences I have had in my life that have not been thought of for a long time. I am also a watcher of others, that is I am perfectly happy sitting on a bench in a crowded mall just watching people. With my pen and paper in hand writing my thoughts down as I watch.
Humans are a very entertaining species! If people would just take the time to learn about one another we would not have such negativity in this world,
Peace..

Both to help people (or at least have the pleasant sensation that I might've helped someone), and to clarify what I believe for myself by explaining it and by reading what others say about the same things. I ask questions about stuff that isn't look-up-able on the net.

Don't advertise your blog on Y! Answers. It's abuse and will be reported.

I know for myself it's to help if I can and to get a few good laughs from some of the questions. Boredom and habit play a big part to.
The answer to why do we ask questions is to get some opinions without really reviling our selves, sort of anonymously.
Some just want to give a laugh.

I guess we all have our reasons for being here. I know that the Q's I've asked have had some excellent answers that really helped me out. I always try to give an answer that is truly helpful and not sarcastic or cruel. I imagine some people are just here to insult those who are geniunely in need of help...

I think it's because we can now connect with so many people worldwide, and see what other people are thinking.
Personally, when I'm bored at work, I come on here and fill in time. Sometimes it's interesting to see what people will answer.

I think that we still marvel about this medium -the Internet- that allows us to communicate with people we don't know and who may be in distant places.
I do it to share my thoughts with others and to hear from others. There are people who write beautifully and it is a real pleasure reading about how they think. There are no other motives for me.

because we all live together in this thing called society
and we share one anothers problems and enrich our lives with others´ experiences........
so yahoo, blog, whatever, is just a "place" where we find each other since we are physically far away

To make ourselves heard. Look at this quesiton asked just seconds after yours.
"Why is it that men are the one who succeed at almost everything?"

This is not really a question as it is a statement.
