depend what he likes and what he need, does he like sport, games, photography, movies, fashion. then take it from there. I myself never buy any gadget, they are just useless. Good luck and Merry Christmas

If he's in his teens or early twenties then something random like a magic 8 ball or a talking Homer Simpson cookie jar. You also can't go wrong with Family Guy or American Dad on DVD.

Presents for guys of all ages - some sort of video game, maybe if he has a ps2, wii or xbox, xbox 360.
If he's into sport i.e football, replica shirt etc
safe choices are like dvd's, choccies, cd's.

I got my brother a music DvD and a CD that i know he likes.
Aftershave is also good or a nice dressing gown.
