Using the LMP to determine fetus age is only an estimate. Size of the uterus is another way and more accurate. Other factors affect uterus size as well.

It could be one of four things:
1) Your uterus may be larger than usual ... non-pregnant, like mine is. My OB/GYN said my uterus was twice the normal size and "spongy".
2) You may be having twins ... or more. Yikes!!
3) You may be having a larger baby.
4) You're further along, than you thought you were.
Like you, I was always larger than I should have been. After a few months, my OB/GYN sent me for an ultrasound ... and to my relief, it wasn't twins. My pregnancy date came ... and went, so my doctor induced. My son weighed almost 9 pounds.
BTW: Congrats!!

I would not worry about it but if you uterus stays bigger than it should be I would request an ultra sound to make sure you arent having twins. You definately want to know ahead of time if you are. Good luck

When you conceve your baby you have to have implantation this prossice will make u bleed. U could have thought that this bleeading was your LMP. The dates sound right. OR you coould just have a bigger baby. You can look up online about implantation.

You could have had implantation bleeding and thought it was your period. If it that is the fact then it would be accurate for you to be 14 weeks pregnant. Good luck on your pregnancy and congrats!!

Doesnt always mean anything. Everyone grows at different rates. Blood work and ultrasounds are the only way to effectively date a pregnancy.
