Oh yeah, I would retire !!!

I'd definitely retire, but first I'd put away enough in an annuity or something to ensure that I'd have a steady income for my family, say $100K annually. More than comfortable.

Then, I'd start some charitable foundation to help people. For example, there are plenty of foundations that reach out to the hungry and poor overseas, but there are plenty here in the United States that are in need. I'd maybe collaborate with agencies like United Way or other charities and either create a foundation which would work with them, or maybe try to set up programs to help those people.

Throwing money at that type of problem won't cure it, but I would enjoy being able to work on that rather than being stuck in my current job until retirement.

NO WAY! I would work. I might retire early but that is it. If you live on it at first it will get smaller and smaller. After you buy a house, car, pay taxes whatever I would invest the rest.

Probably not "retire," but more go back to school (which I am already doing anyway, while working full-time) and then find something that I would want to do later.

I would spread about half (after taxes) to charitable causes and then start a small business somewhere near the ocean.

IF that means 15 million, you bet. Pay off all my bills and donate some to charities that really need it. Tithe, and give money to my children.
