I love Christmas time! It was always tradition for Santa Claus to bring our tree. It was like magic when I'd walk downstairs Christmas morning and everything was lit up and the smell of the tree filled the air. Also, Christmas Eve the whole family goes to my grandparent's house and we exchange gifts. On our way back home, we always drive around different neighborhoods and admire the lights!

Our family tradition for many years was to have all the family over, have lots of food, music and fun. We would open gifts at a certain point. Later on, we decided we couldn't buy for everyone as the family had grown. So on Thanksgiving, we picked names out of a hat. This worked for awhile but now, things have changed and the family is not close. This year will be the first year that we were not all together.

When I was back home we used to get up really early in the morning to open presents and my dad would "play santa" pass out the gifts. Now we have a son of our own and we started last year reading the night before christmas, and before bed we read the christmas story (shortened of course) we want him to grow up knowing the real reason but getting the fun of the season as well. This year should be more fun since he is old enough to understand presents.

we have a huge family (7siblings). we started going to pizza hut on christmas eve about 6 years ago because it was the only place open. there are usually about 30 of us and we are usually the only people in there. we always leave at least a $75 tip for the server then we go to grandmas to open presents. sounds stupid but we love it!

Big handfuls of Oxy Codone chased down by glass after glass of Absinthe. It's well into the twelve days of Christmas for me so I've already started. Sweetie said we could go get me some cigars tonight too! I wouldn't advise it for anyoner else of course, it's taken years for me to build up the tolerance that allows me to survive this sort of abuse. Hey, have a Merry Christmas!

Our family has always opened one present on christmas eve, and the rest for Xmas morning, and me and my sister, even though we're in our twenties now, still wake up before everyone else to look at our stocking stuffers!
