'83 Redskins (upset by Raiders 38-9 in SB XVIII)
'06 Seahawks (lost to Steelers 21-10...did they really lose SB XL, though?)
'98 Packers (upset by Broncos 31-24 in SB XXIX)
'68 Colts (upset by Jets 16-7 in SB III)
'78 Cowboys (failed to repeat, lost to Steelers 35-31 in SB XIII)

Your list is superb. the in problem-free words problem will be i'd have the 1972 dolphins contained in the accurate 6 or 7. The 1976 raiders i'd also disagree with. They lost to the patriots 40 8-17 for the in problem-free words lack of the season ending 13-a million. at the same time as they were given to the playoffs they fairly beat the patriots and received on a awful fatherland call. The 1991 Redskins will be contained in the accurate 5 they were very dominate and in spite of Mark Rypien as quarterback who's some distance from an all time large.

How can you leave out the Bills??? They lost to the Giants and Dallas in like, what? 4 straight Bowls?

I can't think of five, but that St. Louis Rams team that lost to the Patriots will be remembered for quite a while. So much for the "Greatest Show on Turf."
