i need the number to start up internet on the old pc.

you dont need a number use yahoo on both pcs if the 2 of them on network and send da files to urself

No 800 number that I know of.However, go to yahoo home page and download Messenger 8.1. Then install it. You can send the files to yourself. 1 gig allowed for sending the files. More than enough I would guess.

Yahoo messenger would work...
Or set up a free account with one of the "online storage" sites. You can transfer files to that site, then go to the other computer, log in to the same account and transfer them down. Nothing to install.
