The president is here for 2 more years if you like him or not, He was voted in by the people and that's that in fact he did not personally kill Innocent people he orchestrated a lopsided war in which people died and he made bad economic decisions.

In a persuasive essay, please make sure that if you use an opinion, which is allowed in a persuasive essay, do not say I feel, or anything like that. I personally think the president is doing a good job. He was given one of the hardest decisions to make, and I think anyone would have made the same decision. I personally am a girl who hates war, I wish that world peace would come, but it won't. War now seems to be the only answer besides death. As said before "if the newspapers tell the truth..." Not all do. There are many left wing newspapers, a few conservative ones, and they are always going to spin the truth to their favor. You need to take this into consideration. Do research on federal government websites to get the truth of decisions and what's really going on. Do not get on CNN.com (left wing) or FoxNews.com (right wing). As kind of stated before, you cannot say you don't like someone if you don't know them personally. He did not murder anyone. Also realize that the president, although very powerful, has several people making decisions for him...senate, house, etc. Before you write your essay, think long and hard about what you are trying to persuade. Are you persuading people to not like someone? Or are you persuading people to think about this country's direction, i.e. the war, etc.

What I think of him? Nothing,

What I think about the job he's doing? I'd grade him a D maybe D -
btw- 'He' did not kill anyone (that we know of) and you can only lie if you have the facts and KNOWINGLY change the facts- I think his administration is keeping him on a need to know basis. He has already demonstrated that his intelligence is not at the same level as former Presidents. His economic 'skills' are horrible, his foreign policy is questionable at best, and he seems geared on self-interest. This is my argument for why the job he is doing is not up to proper standards. (However, the longer he is in power, the better the Canadian dollar does...so it's not all bad.) :P

1. What exactly did the President lie about? There is not one specific "lie" that anyone can point to.

2. How did he kill "thousands of innocent people? When a terrorist uses children and women as shields while attacking others, it is permissible under international law to shoot him. The terrorist is considered responsible under the law for their deaths.

3. President Bush promised after 9/11 that it would never happen in this country again. So far, that promise has been kept. Our presence in Iraq gives the terrorists easy targets there and keeps them from killing innocent people here. Sounds like a good trade to me. Unless you want a "Beslan" here in America.

Irrespective of the public perceptions the fact is that after 9/11 the country needed a strong president to counter the terrorism. This president took proactive measures and attacked the terrorists hiding places. The results clearly indicate that his actions have put a stop to further terrorist acts on out soils. In dealing with Saddam he has been proved wrong and he is going to pay for it but he came at a time when the country needed a strong president.

If you're planning to write (with one "t") a persuasive paper it would help if you wrote clearly about your subject.
Which president are you thinking of? Iran? France? USA? Venezuela? South Africa?
I suppose you're thinking of president Bush.
I don't know him personally, so I must be careful to express an opinion about him. Even better, don't express any opinion there.
If you refer to his actions, about which I can read in the papers:
assuming the papers tell the truth, I think he is going to be one of the worst presidents Americans didn't choose in the first elections.
I think that he was legally chosen in the elections for a second term and I think the US citizens should blame themselves for his re-election. It has proven very bad for the country, and many other people in this world.

Write you persuasive essay based on FACTS and not opinion, you'll get a better grade. You dont like him because of what you hear other people say. Hearsay is NOT fact.

i still think he is one of the greatest presidents, except he has given in to the numbskul left and made this a "feelgood" war killing our enemies with kindness. Your essay sounds like it is going to be one sided !!!!

He's not my President.
But I suggest using facts, and not the sometimes immature answers that can be on here.
