you have to keep it clean. us the antibiotic cream also. you might be left with a scar. but the scar will less noticeable if you leave it uncovered.. they need air. good luck

That's some heavy duty wax! Geez! OUCH!
I would suggest the same - Neosporin and keep it covered as much as possible. Once you get new skin, I would use a scar treatment cream like mederma so you don't have a scar - at least not a bad one.

i have in no way heard of this. i'm type of taken aback they could even see something like that from an ultrasound at 17 weeks. Ultrasounds somewhat replicate off the infant's inner organs & bones at that degree. Their pores and skin is virtually translucent because there isn't any fat yet. Doesnt sound good to me. i imagine the healthcare professional would no longer comprehend what she is speaking about??

Use Vaseline.
It is inexpensive.
Seals in the moister, and help it to heal faster.
Faster than anything I know of.
A chapstick, use unscented, is made from Vaseline.

Neosporin does help cuts and abrasions heal faster (so they claim), it wouldn't hurt you.
