Me and my boyfriend are trying to play nba live 07 but we can't figure out how to get the second player in the game

to connect the second controller, hold the little button on the console with the "vibration waves" until the green lights blink, then press and hold the little button on top of the controller until the green lights on the controller blink, and the controller will be connected.

cant figure out to get the second player in just that game or at all?

Do you have a profile loaded? Yoy should be able to get in the game in the begining, when you choose your teams, just push left or right. Does it show two controllers when you pick teams?
