Sure we can. Conditions are very similar to the south pole, and we have had continuously manned science stations there for quite a while. One difference though-- the Antarctic science stations are over land, while at the north pole there is no land, only sea ice, and it is constantly drifting (with the ocean currents). To remain over the north pole, you'd have to continuously pick up your camp and move it.

Hi. Well, not right AT the pole because they have an actual pole there. But you could live right next to it. Bring your mp3 player and lots of batteries.

Technically, NO. The term 'North Pole' refers to a point (the northernmost point or top of the Earth) not an area. So, you cannot live IN the North Pole.
