I done that as a teenager. My parents rented a storage building the following year so I couldnt get into my presents. LOL

I remember those times, so I take extra care to hide my kids presents really good now so they wont do the same thing.

No. My parents kept the presents in a pile under a sheet and told us if we want to look under the sheet then go ahead. I'd take a peak but wouldn't go through everything because I wanted to be surprised. They used to hide gifts, but then just stopped trying.

Done it, but won't again! I'll tell you why... I unwrapped a gift, then when I went to re-wrap it, there was no more wrapping paper! I wrapped it in something else and of course my mom knew it! BIG TROUBLE!

I was never successful at it... and I always felt bad... and once I nearly broke my neck when the 2 chairs I'd stacked on top of each other fell over (moral: short kids stay away from top shelves in Mom's closet).

No. If I ever caught my boys doing that, I would return the gift to the store. Then WHO would be surprised on Christmas morning?

nah, I never really peeked. Plus, they always kept them in a room where they would know if I went in. It was the wine cellar, which was temperature controlled and had a noisy door. Plus it was a little creepy in there so I never went in a whole lot.

I have unwrapped a couple of gifts when I was young. but I never made it to the second part since my mom always caught me. (and it was no pleasure when she caught me either *spank*)

All the time. My older brother was very good with a razor blade and scotch tape.

The joys of our childhood. Hasn't every child and some adults done this?
