Warm water, splash of vinegar and a drip (just 1 mind you!) of dish washing liquid. It brings windows up sparkling and streak free. Good luck with your business;

Try this cleaning cloth. You have to buy in packages of 5 but they are only like $3 bucks a piece. I have ordered them and use them on everything, especially cleaning windows and clean mirrors. They are made out of tiny fibers. They are guaranteed not to scratch and all you do is rinse the cloth under water, wring it out and wipe ANY surface with no streaks or scratch. Use em over and over. I have not thrown one away yet!
I even waxed my car with it! I am sold on this ...I encourage you to try it out.

Get a dirty rag and spread it on widows......wipe down with rubber squeegee till the dirt runs all over the windowsill and drips down the white brickwork.....apologise for not coming for the last few months, ask for an exorbitant amount of money and then say "Wheres my Christmas tip"

you can buy the equipment via screwfix and practice on your own windows until you are happy.
we have just stopped one window cleaner he kept turning up every 2 weeks (to often).
always wipe the plastic (extra £1)
arrange set days for the areas you work in so the locals get used to you and when you will turn up.
watch how much you drink toilets are not always available.

newspaper and vinegar water works well for me. The newspaper does not leave lint like paper products do.
