I need some ideas on how to reuse empty spaghetti jars and salsa jars?? Can I use non toxic acrylic paint on the tops and store food in it safely?? Any other ideas would be great too!

Sure you can! I've reused them for fun stuff like cocoa mix too. Layer up some beans to give for a friendship soup, or fill it with candy for a kid. Most jars say not to reuse for food storage, b/c of the jerms that could be in the seal of the lid. Maybe if you bought new canning lids then you could. I would, however, suggest using them for other household items such as coin jars or pen holders or things like that.

I reuse the jars for putting old cooking grease in.
