What has changed since it worked? When you connect via wireless are you pulling an IP address from the router - open cmd prompt and type IPCONFIG /ALL and look to see what your adapters are showing as IPs. Recommend doing it while you are hard-wired into the router too. That way both adapters are "pulling" IPs from the router. If the wireless is pulling a 169.xxx.xxx.xxx IP then it isn't getting an IP from the router the 169 range is the genericMicrosoft networking IP. You can connect to the network and not pull an IP. Causes could be - If you set up security (WEP or WPA) and the Pre-Shared Key (PSK) got deleted; or, if you have enabled MAC filtering and the MAC address of the Wireless NIC isn't in the list then you won't and IP. With out an IP issued from the router you aren't truely connected and won't be able to surf the Internet. I would recommend trying to set the router configuration to it's default settings (without any security) and then step by step configure both the router and the laptop. Hope this helps...

Maybe you need to check on the wireless channel and change it gradually, laptop works fine on channel 11 and most of the desktops work fine on channel 6 & 7....

there could be a problem on the wireless router that you are using - it could also be that you need to check you wireless settings. dsl connection is ok because you can connect to the internet when you will be connecting your pc directly into the modem. if your isp supports the wireless router that you are using, call your isp. if your are using a 3rd party wireless router call mfg of your router.
