Who believes that expensive stuff is better? When i see a sale sign that say buy on get one free i go wow let's go in there! But it's not the same when something is just cheap. More expensive stuff lasts longer. Cheap stuff in just not worth it! My friend just got $140 boots! I got $25 Dior lip gloss! If you can pay for it then i say why not? I would rather splurge on something that's really nice then to buy like 15 little, cheap things you would never use and even if you did then they wouldn't last you! Who else believes what i am saying? THANKS! =]

hi ther hun you r totally right . what i say is why buy something cheap just beacuse it is cheap.
if its not nice why buy it. i dont beleive in being cheap just for the sake of it. id rather pay the extra and actually enjoy it. like i buy expensive make up and clothes and my friends all moan and nag but i say i want to enjoy my money and like to splurge on myself, if i have the money spend it, thats what its here for afterall.
im not saying cheap is always bad but id rather pay the extra and know its good quality and ill enjoy it. good thing someone ou there agreees with me. th hun
by the way ive just bought that dior lip gloss and its fantastic

I do believe what you are saying. And certainly, if you can afford the expensive stuff, go for it. However, I bought a pair of shoes at a very expensive store before, thinking that it would be quality if I bought them there. They were falling apart within two weeks. I did the same thing again, another pair of shoes at another expensive store. They too fell apart very quickly. Whereas, Every pair of shoes I ever bought from Payless, buy one get one half off sales has lasted far longer than the expensive stores. I'm a woman who loves her shoes as you can see. But what I am saying is just that just because you pay more for it, it's not always good quality. Whenever you can save a little bit of money from a sale or whatever, why shouldn't you. The real crap in this world that is sold really cheap is usually visible to the eye that it is crap. I wouldn't waste my money there either. But don't let the big price tages suck you in either!

I have to agree to some extent. There have been a few items that I've bought in the past that I paid serious dinero for, but yet I was quite happy with the results. So overall, I am willing to shell out a few more dollars for quality items such as boots and shoes, coats and maybe skincare products. Also, some of these items will last for a long time. I also think that trendy clothes should be bought cheaply since something else that's new will be out in a few months anyway!

all of you that believe just because the price is higher the product is going to be better need to have your heads examined! The less expensive stuff is just as nice as the other stuff. Lip gloss, who would pay $25 dollars for that when I can get it for less than $5. THat is just dumb! Good Luck in life! YOu will definately be needing some financial consultations as life progresses for you!

Not always because even expensive stuff can be the same, it just has r=the name brand tag on it. with lipgloss and things like that, it depends because some of the higher end brands have bad effects on you and contain chemiclas. so u should check a weviste to see whats in the product. sometime the higher end things are better for you though!

Mostly yes, but not always. Beyond a point, I find myself just paying for the brand name, and not any better quality. I don't mind paying $200 for a pair of nice well-made jeans, but I am definitely not going to pay some $500 for a pair of designer jeans.

i completely agree. and you tend to take better care of your things when they cost more. i used to buy 2-4 pairs of $30 sunglasses a year. My last pair cost me $150 and I've had them for two years! I've also been carrying the same $200 bag for 6 years. do you know how many cheap bags i would have gone through in that time period?

i agree with you on this one, but only like when it comes to shoes, makeup or products for my face and body and for purses. for clothes its a different thing, because my style is always changing and because im constantly going out to parties or bars i buy clothes left and right i dont really spend all that money on a random top or like a sweaters, jeans i do splurge on but like if i find something that i really want i will buy it no matter the price.

well if its in fashion n it looks ood but its cheap i go for it coz its not sumthing u keep !! but jeans n sweaters n jacket i buy the real stuff, im willing to pay for it coz its stuff tht dont go outa fashion n its things tht i use all the time, abt make-up i have cheap stuff n real expensive stuff, powders n creams i get the good stuff but gloss n liners the cheap .. depends on wht ur buyin !!

Most of the time expensive stuff is better. But i hate it when cheap stuff raises their price just to make it look like its good stuff.
