For example I know in Australia, while it's socially accepted for women to cry in public, having an emotional spat with your partner (in private) by shouting out how you feel is frowned upon, why?

Personally I feel it's a great way to release what it is you want to say and get it over with without having the silent treatment, pretense and bitterness.

Well,.. it hard to say where it would definatly be completely socially accetable anywhere...

I think this has to due with a few things, mainly the fact that all people are raised different and thus have different beliefs and such, as well as the ever changing gender roles in the world and even though people claim equality, theres still stereotypical roles that are enforced in some aspects in society.

Your best bet is in the U.S., Japan, and the more european countries for the most part. Middle east countries your definatly SOL, as well as many other countries ionthe world where men are considered "masters" or what not culterally.

Is it going to be completly accepted? probably not... Your going to have some people who could care less, some who think its wrong because a woman is yelling at a man, and some who think the fighting in general is messed up.

For example,.. I have observed behavior from many different people when arguements have started by the neihbors and been overheard... I have seen all kinds of responses from, oh there they go again and laughter, to why does he or she let him get away with that, to disgust...

personally,.. I only have a real problem with it, if its so loud that I can overhear it,.. and if it is that loud,... then maybe theres a bigger issue going on...

I think that partners need to get there **** out on the table sometimes,... and it all depends on how compatible they are as to the methof and if thats going to work or not.... if you can do that,. and stay togethor and become stronger because of it,. your good to go,. if not,. someone probably needs to go...

personally whatever I do in private is my buisness anyways,. so i could care less about what others think,.. know what i mean?

No one enjoys fighting with their partner, but it happens to practically all of us at some point..... but the only reason I'd guess that people might frown on it is if it gets out of hand, becomes too noisy and disrupts your neighbors peace and quiet.
