I have been watching carefully the appearance of twelve or thirteen moles on the base of my penis. Some of them have grown to be rather large in size. They start out as white, almost like a zit then they changed colors to red and brown and with irregular edges.I have been faithfully with my wife for seven years and haven't slept around. What are these things and how do the doctors remove them? They don't bother me but it is just the appearance that is bothersome.Somebody, anybody please help me with some answers.

"Although you could probably have them removed by surgery, I doubt that would be either necessary or a good idea. Freckles or moles can appear on the penis as they can elsehwere, but if they are small and regular, they will as a rule not grow or turn into anything else. Also, they are not at all likely to multiply or become numerous. Just doesn't happen.

I suggest yoi show them to a dermatologist. If they are tiny blood vessels, he can possibly cauterize them, and if they make you self-conscious, you can consider that if the doctor thinks it's feasible. Otherwise, I would jsut leave them be.

New Moles On Penis

If you are not sexually active and you are certain it is a mole could you wait until you are at a consenting age for its removal.? If you are sexually active, are you certain that it is a mole and not a symptom of STD i.e wart virus? At any rate I am sure you would want it assessed by your GP keeping in mind that other conditions exist i.e melanoma. When it comes to sex your partner may think you have a disease! When in fact you don't. I would be certain that your parents would not want to embarrass you. Could you insist that a male GP or sexual health worker assess the mole for you? A little embarrassment with your parents is better than a lot of embarrassing tales behind your back by some X lover.

Wow. That's quite unusual. Depending on your age, I would most definitely have this checked out my your physician immediately. Granted, medical professionals say you shouldn't worry unless the moles move from spot to spot, because that could possibly cancerous. However, you stating that there are thirteen or so, and that they change coloring. If I were you, I wouldn't wait too long to have those looked at. It could be nothing at all, but then again, it could be the development of something more serious. I don't want to worry you, but make an appointment as soon as you can, just to be on the safe side and take the worry out of your life. Especially since you haven't probably seen your physician since the start of the first or second mole.

I wish you the best.
