the 360 is much better. you will get bored with the wii in a few months once the novelty of the new controller wears off and will be left with a 250 dollar last generation console that plays games that look and sound no better than PS2 games.
DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON A WII.

You want opinions and not hard facts.
The Wii is more fun especially for (traditionally) non-gamers. It also encourages more body work out when playing sporting titles. Playing tennis, karate, bowling use body movements with the wiimote, so you can get some exercise done.:D
The Xbox is more graphically advanced but is essentially the same old stuff we are used to. Just faster and finer. (Some games sill appear slow on the 360 to me, but hey! I cant wait to try out the ps3)
