He was cremated and although it was widely reported that his ashes were scattered in the Ganges River, the ceremony was not conducted at the expected time (see [6]). Yes. George is dead. He died a couple of years ago. John Lennon just had his anniversary of being murdered a few days ago. Like 26 years, I belive. Ringo Starr and Paul McCartney are the only living Beatles now.
