im getting my 2nd lobe piercings tommorrow and i cant remember if my 1st ones hurt or not i thinking about going to claires, any pointers?

Dpends on who does it, where they do it, what they do it with, and how they do it. I had mine done by my doctor and she used very sterile equipment so it didnt really hurt. Now think about the people at Claires. do you perfer spending a few more dollars to have a professional do it or have some 15 year old mall worker do it while there helping other customers and talking to other employees. Thats all I can really say. so you can make ur own desion.

i remember getting my second piercings. it didn't hurt -- that is, if you are planning on getting the lobe area pierced and not the cartilage. cartilage will hurt (or so i've heard). if it's just the lobes, it's a quick, pinching feeling. a little uncomfortable, but not painful.

If you pierce your lobes, you will feel pain. It should be throbbing. But if you think about it, millions of people pierce their ears so it can't hurt THAT bad.

It will hurt for a few minutes, but after a while, you wont remember what it felt like :) And they will put some cleanser on it which helps to cool the burning sensation.

Yeah it's gonna hurt. The higher up the earlobe you go, the more cartilidge there is and the more it hurts. Maybe you can walk outside before you get it done, so your ears will be nice and numb before you go in.

if they use a gun, which i think they always do for ears, then yea ;x but it's only like a second of pain, then its just soreness and a little pain after. i got my tongue pierced and i think my ears were much more painful lol.

well even if you did remember the second one hurt so much more but don't worry just make sure you clean is and twist the backing every day

No, not really. They burn a little while afterwards, but it really doesn't hurt. I have 2 in each ear.

its not that bad! i got mine couple of weeks ago.just make sure u r not allergic to the earing they are using.i had this problem... so for 1 week it hurt alot,then i changed the earing, now its fine :D

depends on where ur getting it. i just got my ears peirced last month and i didnt even flinch. but i had mine done dead center lobe.
