I don't think you can handle it. I might be wrong but I don't think so. I lived in Austin, TX for 6 years. I'm orginally from New Jersey born and raised. I lived in Virginia for 2 years. I just moved back home from Texas last December and I'm telling you I am so glad to be home until I could just stand in the middle of the street and shout Hallaluhah! When I first moved to Texas I liked it. But I'm the type of person that gets bored real quick. My husband was a Southener so after I start complaining about going back home to my state which was after the 6 months that I lived there, he said no because he liked Texas even though I met him in NJ. We were together for 9 years before he passed away. After that happened I knew I had to go back to familiar surroundings. My husband had no family members no children, so I cremated him, put him in a beautiful earn and brought him back with me with my daughter 2 drivers, 2 cats, 1 pick-up, 1 suv, a truck load of furniture. But getting back to you. While I was in Texas, I heard a lot of people there say that they could never live up North. If you're the type of person that likes to do different things and you're ancy with a lot of energy but you don't know where to sprout it, then yes you can survive up here. That was my problem. I'm hyper and I need to be constantly doing something. Now I have a great job in the metro section of Jersey, I've met a really great guy I've been seeing for 3 months, I'm back home with my children. It also would be good for you to know someone here too. You see my sister lives in Round Rock, TX which was right next door to Austin. So if you know someone in New York, by all means, come on up! Your life will change and I'm thinking for the better. If you want, stay in touch!

if you like weather that is rainy and 70 degrees for two days, the following day is foggy, then all the sudden there is a four day period where it is extremely dry and like 40 degrees, then goes back into the 80's. yah of course come here. OR if you work in the medical field! we have the best medical center in downtown!!!!!

If you have a good job, yes.
If not, prepare to have your standard of living eroded.
