Wireless keyboards won't work for most BIOS interaction. There is now way to load the necessary drivers to make it work. USB keyboards can be the same way - depending on the age of the Motherboard/computer. If you have a PS2 Keyboard around that is always the "ready-standby," but you should never plug in or unplug a PS2 device while the power is on - you risk frying the port. Try the PS2 keyboard and see what happens. Hope this helps...

Wireless most likely won't work..... your wired keyboard should. Make sure you reboot your computer with the wired keyboard connected or it won't 'see' it.

The other thing to think of is that it it's a USB wired keyboard, you may have some issues. If you have a keyboard port, that's what you want to use. There is an adapter for USB to the keyboard port. I believe it will depend on your OS also. The mouse and keyboard ports are activated at bootup - I think the newer computers will turn on USB upon boot but not all bios supports that.

It being wireless has nothing to do with you computer if you have a receiver separate from your computer. It could possibly be a number of things such as your usb connection. Try to use the adapter for your keyboard serial if you have it. Also different motherboards have different prompts to send you into bios. If you can get access to the Internet type in as much info about your m/b and goggle it. There are lots of trouble shooting sites out there. Good Luck!

Hi. I had this problem too. Make sure your wired keyboard is connected before you power up, boot, then shutdown and try your BIOS again.
