Circumcision can save over two million in the next 15 years. This is very serious and should not be taken as a joke.
All these studies have been carried out by prestigious and respectable research institutions and universities, and are back in many cases by official organisations such as the US National Institutions of Health or the World Health Organisation.
Why uncircumcised men are more prone to STD’s?
Scientist have discovered that the skin covering the inner side of the foreskin is by its nature (has a very low amount of a protein called ‘keratin’ which stops viruses entering into the body, plus some other factors) acts as an ‘open door’ to STD’s. Circumcision, by removing the foreskin, ‘closes’ this ‘door’.
Circumcision rates are increasing nowadays, both in the United States and overseas. Many African and South American countries with little circumcision tradition are starting to promote the procedure to help to reduce the AIDS-HIV infection rates.
The sites below have very interesting information related to this topic. Please have a look.

Hello,
I think your being totally paranoid!! what a stupid load of non sense!! who ever heard of such rubbish!! What about the all christains who have already been circumcised then?
**What about all the christians & muslims in Africa or else where in the world who have already been infected with HIV or Aids.
**The circumcision debate is atleast based on some genuine medical research as far as I can see and if it helps to prevent further infection then surely that should be welcomed NOT feared. After all millions of people have died of aids already.
**As usual its religous faith & stupid ancient superstious ideas that stop people using condoms and so yet more people get infected & die as a result, No! religon is part of the problem not the cure sadly.

I don't think it's a good idea telling people that getting circumcised will prevent aids. Yes you will be cleaner, bacteria will not be harboured under the foreskin. But people will think that it will stop you from catching HIV. The only way to stop that is to use protection. I think that Christianity is causing the problem anyway. The Pope tells people not to use a condom as it is a sin. He is practically giving millions of people the death sentence. Most men in the US are circumcised anyway and that is a christian country. Many men do it for sanitary reasons.

ahhh, its non-christian so it MUST be bad!!
lol - ever heard of Catholics? they also circumcise.
as do many people who have no faith.
I saw no mention of Islam or any religion in the news reports on this.
Only someone with a massive paranoia and chip on their shoulder could possibly construe something bad from this - which has been proven to help cut infection rates and therefore save lives - doesn't that mean anything to you??
you really have made yourself look like a k*ob - oops, sorry :)

Foreskins have special cells in them called Kupfer cells, which specifically ingest "foreign" objects like viruses & bacteria so as to destroy them. Unfortunately, the HIV virus is not destroyed in this way so all the Kupfer cells do is provide the virus with an express route to infecting the unlucky man.
So no; its not propaganda although your 'question' arguably is.
