I think it can be classed as rape. A very long time ago a well known singer connie francis (i think that was her name, in america) was raped by ...cant remember the exact words the judge in her case said, but someone broke into her place and subjected her to horrific sexual assault using the barrel of a pistol, was badly injured severely traumatised and won the very first rape by something..inanimate object...something. Cant remember the exact words. But yes it was recorded as rape.

In the US, State of Oregon at least, this would be considered rape with a foreign object...which is still the same as "normal" rape, and is punishable by the same.
Some States/Countries have more stringent laws regarding rape/sexual assault cases, and define specific criteria that must be met before any charges are filed.
The best thing to do is to make sure that you are examined by a qualified medical provider...which doesn't necessarily mean a Doctor/Physician. THey have a nursing specialty that deals specifically with sexual assaults. They are catagorized by the SANE/SAFE designation. Ask at your local hospital ER if they have anyone under those designations. If not, let them know that you have been a victim of sexual assault by a foreign object, and you need to be examined by someone who is qualified in the area of sexual assault.
If you want to, you can email me and let me now where you live (city, state, or country,) and I will try to find someone in your area that is SAFE/SANE certified.

Yes, it's a serious sexual assault, and whether it is called rape depends on where the crime was committed. I hope this is a rhetorical question, and that nothing like this has happened to you. If you live in the UK you can get free legal advice from the Citizens Advice Burea. Take Care.

Rape is classified by law as " the introduction of a foreign object into a genital or anal cavity against somebodies will," so yes it is defined as rape whether that foreign object be a penis or anything else. Alex. Sorry I must add that that is the law in England so I advise you to check up on your state or national law and not rely on people from all over the world.

Because most laws define rape as forced/coerced intercourse. Intercourse is not any object put inside a woman, intercourse is specifically a penis in her.
So it all comes down to the wording of the law. Change the words and definitions of rape, and you can charge sexual predators with rape even if they didn't penetrate with the penis.

It is sexual assault as defined in law, could also be charged with serious assault as defined in Scotland as
Rape is a gender-specific crime. In Scotland, it can only be committed by males
upon females, which appears to mean by persons biologically male at birth upon
persons born biologically female. It is, therefore, a crime of specific personal
violence perpetrated on females

It seems that this is still a case of sexual assault! I'm sorry that this happens to anyone. This is still unwanted sexual contact, even if it's not "rape" and it is illegal contact.

yes I agree we should not ignore anything done to other human beings but in order to gain peace in yourself you have to block it out.
