I can see that there are a lot on here that have no idea what conservatism is outside of what they here on talk radio. Do these people properly represent the conservative movement as a whole?

When faced with the inherent incompatibility of their philosophy with the logical world, many conservatives revert to a childish behavior.
The 1950s are over and they weren't as good as everyone tells you.
If you hate government so much, don't be a part of it.
Taxes pay for services. No taxes, no services. You use them too.
You will never be a multi-millionaire. Quit sabotageing your present and your children's future by supporting laws that favor only multi-millionaires.
Stop apologizing for every inane failed policy of this administration. Stop blaming everyone else. Take charge of your party, root out the people who wrought this debacle on the country, and come back stronger.
Quit listening to any idiot with a microphone and an OC habit.

Sure there are. The question is, how many people can *listen* to them in an adult manner? Some, certainly, but not all.
I will say that I don't see conservatives assaulting, threatening, or shouting down liberals who are trying to exercise their freedom of speech. No liberal speaker I know of has been greeted with the violence (yes, violence) directed at Tancredo, Coulter etc.

Well, Conservatives believe in standing up for America. They believe in what our ancestors fought and died for. They stand up for your Constitutionally protected rights.
They send their kids into the military.
They are generally against abortion since it is really murder.
They think that people should be able to keep most of their money and not give all of it to the government. They believe in working for a living and getting people to be self sufficient.
They think that the government has too much control already.
They believe in freedom of speech for everyone... even Anti Americans.
They believe in freedom of religion..... including Christianity.
They generally stand up for morals and values that they believe in. They don't think that just because everyone is doing it, it's alright.
As a general rule, they don't think we should support illegal immigrants. We have enough legal people to try to support.
They realize that nothing is free. If someone gets something for free, someone else is paying for it.
They disagree with same sex marriage and marriage to their pets. They won't stand behind it because it is what the public thinks they should do.
They would never be caught dead protesting at an American Soldier's funeral out of respect for the family of the deceased. Whether they agreed with the war or not, that is just wrong.
They think that we should show more respect.

Are you blinded to the fact that quite a few Liberals can't communicate in an adult manner? And stop lumping people together there is never all or every when it comes to people.

I could communicate conservative views but I seriously don't want to write an essay. There are several well-informed Republican conservatives on Y*A.
Of course, there are a lot of people who are on Y*A to have fun and/or just to vent.
