Anyway, the simmering anger seems to want blood (not justice, blood) and the threats of riot is strong in the air as we saw in LA in '92, Detroit, Watts etc. It's always the same story really. Black neighborhoods provide the least tax revenue per 1,000 people yet utilize the BULK of the police, fire and ambulance services. Maybe the reason there are always police incidents involving blacks is because police are always interacting (mostly) with blacks. Meanwhile race baiting pimps like Sharpton and Jesse J fan the flames for their own betterment in the name of justice. The net effect is that when you weaken a police force you weaken a nation. Do you agree with this viewpoint?

Yep. I'm sure you'll be called a racist for this observation of reality. It's not nice to say bad TRUE things about Blacks (or their race baiting pimps. Not the way I'd put it, but true nonetheless. No I don't agree with this point of view. So you are justifying a person being shot 50 times because they allegedly have a criminal back ground? This makes no sense. If police had a reason of any kind, or proof of reason it would have been stated already. Anything else provided after this amount of time is invalid. This isn't new or a first time case. The point is this continues to happen in minority neighbors, and the only ones we hear about on the news are the ones that are not easily covered up. The point that you and others make is understandable when you and family don't have to be subjected to racism and harassment by the police or any dominate figure in the community.

Wow ~ it is sooo sad , that in 2006.. people like you still exist! 1st and for most ... it is beyond the race ... the whole situation is a disgrace! 50 shots towards a black or white unarmed man is not necessary! It is so funny you make the comments you have made , but I would have loved to see your reaction if it was one of your loved ones! and lets set the records straight ... statistically speaking .. blacks are more at risk for racial profiling and police brutality then any other race! If you get out of your box and take a look around the real world you will see that there are law abiding, tax paying , successful and highly educated blacks that exist and deserve respect and shouldn't be targeted because of their skin color!

Wow, seriously that is a horrible thing to say. My first cousin was best friends with him and honestly he was a great guy.. and it is unfortunate about the NYPD and their involvement with his death. The day before his wedding he was murdered. No one deserves to get shot 50 times. I cannot believe you are justifying this. I just know you're gonna get a lot of negative answers but I'm with you. It's not racism. You gotta look at the facts. Cops don't just shoot at people, not even black people (lol). Seriously, the driver almost ran over the cop, TWICE, that's attempted murder, ask any black person you know, they know the law (mostly the jail sentences), but seem to forget all about it when they're holding a picket sign. If anything, he's better off now that he's dead than if he got life in jail for killing a cop or the death penalty, which would come like 10 years after the sentence, with appeals and other legal procedures. So he'd be sitting in death row for all that time.
It's sad how these protesters play the race card over and over as if only whites killed blacks. These guys' rap sheets include armed robbery and illegal possession of a firearm, I'd take a shot at any of them any given day.
