REALITY TV - Why people watch them. you could ask various people why and do some graphs and that on their reasons. you could also write about how the "stars" aren't actually famous for being talented at anything and tend to fade away in a short time.
PLASTIC SURGERY - How the media and models are encouraging people to have plastic surgery to look like a magazine ideal of the perfect woman.
WAR IN IRAQ - How the war in iraq has changed peoples views of muslims.
DEPENDENCY ON TECHNOLOGY - How kids don't play outside anymore but would rather play on their PS3 and how their communication skills and ability to get on with people is suffering but the good point is you can communicate with people you would not normally have met like people far away in another country.
OR
How mobile phones can help us in time of trouble like when a car breaks down so we can get help

Plastic Surgey has their own tv show Nip Tuck
Reality TV is not a new concept, what is going to happen int he future if reality tv become like Richard Bachman's The Running Man? (You can rentthe movie too it is with Arnold Schawrtzenagger)
and dependency on technology, Technology has made life more efficient and easier, but depending on what it is, it has not truely propelled us further like the technological advances after WWII have. We went from having men on the moon to being able to listen to lots of music on a small device. How has it advanced mankind as a whole and what has ti done to further the survival of our species?

Take reality Tv and write of all the low human instincts that the producers have been abusing. How it is bad and dirty to show people in cages under cameras 24 hours...
Or take plastic surgery and write how women just can't get enough....
Don't take war in Iraq or the other one - they are a way too hard.

RE: War in Iraq
Multiple levels of conflict over this issue are making it worse.
(a) Political trust and motivations
One side sees only the connection between the Bush administration and support for oil interests; the other side sees only the connection between Saddam Hussein and support for terrorist activities, and BOTH sides deny the other connection exists. They both present "facts" to the contrary, while mutually discrediting the other as denying the truth, and promoting lies for political gain.
(b) Military
Those who support the war believe the military is serving to protect Iraq from worse violence, and pulling out troops would cause an upsurge in killings against defenseless innocent civilians. Those who are against the war believe more are dying and will die if the occupation continues and incites more violence. There are some in between who understand more will die if troops are removed, but disagree whether the loss of life will be more or less.
(c) Corruption of efforts
RE: complaints that the resources are misdirected to benefit oil interests and/or reconstruction funds are getting into the hands of corrupt or infiltrated government institutions so that the billions of dollars spent are not helping the Iraqi people as intended
Solution:
Instead of political factions wasting time, energy and resources fighting or accusing each other, why not work together to make sure resources are used properly to help rebuild Iraqi infrastructure. Why not focus equally on support for civilian reconstruction and stablization while allowing military to serve as security? Why is the conflict portrayed as "either/or" -- why not support both peace efforts and security measures.
If peacemakers believe in diplomatic solutions, why not demonstrate this by example, by coordinating cooperative efforts across political lines to provide unified support to the people of Iraq. That would do more to end the distrust and tensions causing violence and war, and promote true reconciliation on common values and focus as needed to bring stability and peace.

Before choosing the topic, you need to consider on which one will you will be able to obtain the most information. Do some research on each. Whichever one you seem to find the most information on, choose that one. You never write a paper based on "stuff" that's just in your head. You always do research so that you can provide current and correct information, but having said that DON'T plagerize! And any topic can be interesting if you find a way to make it interesting through active words, your delivery and by simply giving the impression that you are interested in it, even if you aren't.

you must have some form of opinion on one of these subjects. The best essays are written in 5 paragraphs. the first is your introduction, the body (next three paragraphs) xhould touch on 3 different points. for example war in iraq perhaps 3 reasons to fight or 3 reasons to bring the troups home and the last paragraph, is your conclusion and personal opinion,. good luck and keep trying.

Hmm, how about writing a paper about expectations from plastic surgery and the psychological impact it has on a person?
I always think it's interesting when people go into plastic surgery thinking their entire life is going to change for the better. Ashlee Simpson is a great example of this. She changed her entire face and really regrets it now.

Is it a persuavive essay? Or an factual essay? Depending on either one you have to find information on the topics. Search on the internet for one of those topics, or go onto echeat.com, or something of the sort. I am not implying that you should cheat, but they have good essays on there, on almost every subject, for or against. It might give to some ideas. Good luck!

An exploding issue these days is addiction to plastic surgery. The pressure put on women and men to look a certain way is everywhere in today's society. A result of such pressure to be thin and attractive is an addiction to plastic surgery. Here's some helpful links should you choose to go in that direction:
