Sometimes it does. I am in South West Georgia near a town called Albany.

Usually our lowest winter temps are around 20 F, but those cold temps are very, very infrequent. Usually we average about 35 at night and in the 50's during the day, with a few colder and warmer sanps here and there. Right now it is 65 F, tomorrow it is suppposed to be 70 F, and Sunday it is supposed to be 72 F. Our lows for the next few days are supposed to be in the 50's.

I do remember some particularly cold winters (one year on Christmas Eve it was 5 F and I was 12 years old. I also remember some particularly warm ones... in 1982 we were wearing shorts and it was in the 80's.

Sometimes. It's about 65 degrees right now (I live in Savannah Georgia).

I have lived in Savannah for 15 years and have never seen snow that will stick to the ground. We get a few days that it freezes during the night though.

It gets cold anyplace north or south of the Equator. And there too, probably!

It depends on what you mean by cold. Below freezing? Yes, occasionally.
