The Day of the Triffids - the book (and film) that brings a whole new meaning to those signs that say, "Caution - Heavy Plant Moving".

No thanks. If you've read the book, you'll recall that the Day of the Triffids started with a meteor shower that blinded about 95% of everyone -- and then plagues killed most of the blind people and some of the sighted too. Definitely not a good thing to celebrate.

No. There are a heck of a lot of Christians in this country who wouldn't be very happy about it. Remember the royal family are Christian, you won't have your way until they're not.
