absolutely, you don't need the aggravation, more than likely you're working at a fast food restaurant with people who envy your youth, which has potential. I'd concentrate on school and forget about those losers at the fast food place. they probably don't have a life.
You're life is just beginnning at fifteen. It will only get better once you get into college. don't work at a fast food place, work at a local library. Volunteer at a local church, where your help is more than appreciated. No matter what you do, stay in school. Your life is OK, you're going through growing pains and those at your job just want to take it out on you. don't worry, they are the ones with no life. once you get into college, you'll be fine. maybe even visit your old job and tell them how good you're doing. You don't need such a crummy job at such a young age. quit and get yourself a job where you dont' do that much work and you can concentrate on your school work.

trust me, you'll gain friends once you hit college.

and no, don't give them any explanation for quiting or a notice, just don't go back. why in the world would you want to have that on your resume. I've never done that. if I hate a job, I just don't return, they can keep my check, it's not even worth going after. forget that job and if you go without a job, you'll be fine, whoever said get another one is out of their mind. we have some bitter people online too, so please ignore those ignorant remarks. just concentrate on school and worry about going into college.

I would say for you to talk to your boss. You are only 15 that shouldn't be legal for you to be closing alone. Tell your boss how you feel. Maybe your boss will do some changes or tell the others that their behavior is in appropriate. Stay a little bit longer and if it doesn't get better (they didn't correct or change anything) there is no sense to put yourself through all that heartache. No one deserves being treated like that. Especially when you are just now joining the work force. I've been very fortunate and started working at 18 I'm at my third Job and I've been her 9yrs in May 2007!! Without a College Degree! These people seen me in my teenage years, get engaged, moved up in two departments, have a kid and now I'm in Accts. Recs. When you find that special job, it will be like having an extra family. Keep looking!! Good Luck!! You are better than them and you don't need to let them bring you down.

I would quit. But remember the work force is not easy though. Find a part time job and try to save money up.. no job should make you feel that crummy. Find another job that you are happy and the people will treat you with respect

to a certain point everyone hates working but if they don't treat you good make you do things that is not OK with you then quit.
It sounds like they trust you enough to let you lock up, so I'm sure you will be able to find another job with no problem. Good Luck

Yes, you are correct! you should quit! You are also correct that a fifteen-year-old should not be required to close. Check to see if there are any volunteer or paying jobs at a local hospital when you turn sixteen. Hospitals follow labor laws and will treat you with respect for your age and talents.

i would say discuss it with your parents , if possible, then yes quit, if you are in school, concentrate on your studies,,,,, some jobs, i have found , will really take advantage of the younger employees, my daughter just quit hers, with my encouragement, and she is 19 and in college, and your right, most states have specific laws governing the hours and how late a 15 year old can work,,,,,

If you are that unhappy you should quit. At 15 you should not have to worry about that kind of stress.
If you really need or have to work I would try to find another job first though.

You should quit. Life's too short to spend time hating what you're doing.

Just make sure you are mature about it. Give your two weeks notice and explain in a mature manner why you are leaving.

QUIT!! No job is worth all that. You are so much better than that and no, you are not supposed to be closing at 15, especially after 10pm.

If you're so unhappy you should definetly quit. You should like your job most of the time not hate it all the time. Look for something better that makes you happier.
