I paid for the balance of this lady's grocery once because she was scrambling to find the last 50 bucks, and she was about to put food back and toiletries. She had 3 kids with her so I just put the money in her hand and left. I felt bad for her and the kids.

I told my mom that I would be OK if it was her time to go to God. The next day, not 12 hours later, she coded. I ordered a stop of CPR, took her hand and sang "You Are My Sunshine" to her, which is a song she always sang to me as a kid. She died hearing my voice in song.
And then, I completely and thoroughly went to pieces.
