My great grandmother spotted the whole time she was pregnant during all 3 of her pregnancies. I also spotted a little when I was pregnant and it ended up being nothing. You really should call your doctor though and explain the situation including what you were doing before you started bleeding, how heavy it is, and how long it has been going on. Being concerned about your baby and not knowing the answer is NOT STUPID. If you don't feel comfortable talking with your doctor then you might need to find a new one, just remember that you are paying for his/her time and as long as you don't call them 12 times a day everyday they should take the time to answer your questions.

Give the girl a break and tell her truth not one off horror stories. Generally speaking, period equals no period. Not 100% accurate but over 99% so relax if you have had a period. Rather than worry, take a test. £5 from a chemist and results in a minute. Good luck

You can be pregnant and bleed at the same time, its quite normal in early pregnancy and u can go on to have a good pregnancy or it could be a miscarriage, what u really need to do is buy a pregnancy test and that will tell u for sure if u are or not pregnant as they work on hormone levels. You can by them from supermarkets of pharmacies and the assistant wont think anything of it. They sell thousands of them.

Generally no, because the purpose of your period is to remove the lining from your womb that is not needed because you are not pregnant. However, some women do continue with light periods early on in their pregnancy. Usually not though. Hope this helps!
