Is it just me or are a majority of the people on here just rude and ignorant? I posted a question about my pregnancy. I found out 2 days ago that I'm pregnant. I made a Dr's app't as soon as I got the positive tests. HOWEVER, I've never been pregnant, want's trying to get pregnant, didn't think I COULD get pregnant so to me it's still not even real. I can't comrephend that it's true. So I gave down the facts and just said that I wanted positive reinforcement that I was pregnant to ease my mind because it would break my heart if I wasn't now and I got a bunch of RUDE answers!!!! Why is this? There are some really nice people on here but most i"ve come across are just mean, sour, bitter hateful people who think they know everything. Ticks me off. I'd like to see how they'd behave in a face-to-face situation. It's pathetic.

Congratulations on your pregnancy!
I don't know why people act ugly sometimes. Perhaps they are trying to be funny. I usually dismiss hurtful comments. Please don't let them upset you, especially now.
Just enjoy your pregnancy.

I don't remember seeing your question, but most of us here are so used to seeing the "Am I Pregnant?" questions, that it has just gotten old. I mean every day at least 10 times a day there will be a poster on here giving us a list of symtoms, like sore breast, stomach ache, etc...asking us if they are pregnant. Honestly, it is VERY unusual to get a false positive on a home pregnancy test, therfore if a woman has taken a test, it came back positive, then chances are very high that she is pregnant.
Sorry if you got rude feedback.

I agree! I've spent a lot of time in the Pregnancy forum and there are so many rude people. I've notice a few specific people that are rude in just about every question they answer and I just skip over their answers, don't even bother to read. Also, if you get a rude answer and you go look at that persons questions, they are often just as silly as anyone elses and they are often first time moms theirselves. Why they get on a high horse is beyond me. Keep asking your questions, there are also alot of really nice people on here and many are helpful:)

I think it's because there are so many "am I pregnant?" posts, and really, no one can tell if you're pregnant over the internet. :] So I think it gets old after a while to keep posting "yes you could be or no probably not but go get a HPT..." So don't take it personally. Congratulations on your pregnancy! It's a fabulous experience and will change your life forever. :] Good luck!

Some people are rude. Many do try and help though.
I hope all goes well with your pregnancy. Enjoy it was it lasts. Once the baby is here you'll be busy all the time. But they are worth all the work. Babies bring tons of joy into your and you'll see the world through their eyes. Kind of like seeing everything anew again.
Good Luck!!

I am in 100% agreement with you. What may be an important question to you is a joke for someone else. The only reasons we ask questions is just to feel reasurred. We know we still have to get doctors opinions. We just want to know that there is other people who have gone through similar situations. You know it is kind of dumb to be on here trying to answer questions when you don't even like doing it. Some people are just plain ignorant. So I am with you girl! They can just kiss are ***.

I think a lot of people here get tired of the "am I pregnant?" questions because honestly, we can't possibly answer them. The only way to find out is to take a test. If you took a test that says you are pregnant, then the odds are very good that you are pregnant. Those tests are very accurate. It's more likely to get a false negative (because hormone levels aren't high enough yet to show up) than to get a false positive.

I know. This site is awesome when people are rude.I like the fact that you can ask questions about things that people have already been through. They can answer your questions and it does ease your mind sometimes. The people on here are stupid who are rude. They will need advice someday and I hope they see what they did.
