The Vikings, because they have a much stronger defense and a better O-line. Frank Gore is amazing, but one man doesn't make a team. When Taylor is healthy, he's riunning behind one of the best fullbacks in the NFL, and with that O-line he can do almost as much damage as Frank Gore. The Vikings defense actually creates turnovers and stops scoring drives, something that the 49ers have only done sporadically.

49ers becuase for one the 49ers have already beaten the Vikings. 9 to 3. Second The Vikings have no real huge threat on offense except for inconsistent Chester Taylor. 49ers have maybe a inconsistent Qb but they make up for it in the run game. With Frank Gore over 1300 yards this season after 49ers decided to release injury-proned Kevan Barlow. And although the Vikings are great against the run they give away the big pass play.

Hahaha the Titans and 49ers aren't even overrated. The Titans aren't even considered too make the playoffs by some people, so I don't know how they're overrated. And you act like Haynesworth was our whole defense. Remember those guys that won the Superbowl? Well we beat them without Albert so it's not really going to make that much of a difference without him. Our D-Line is deeper than most people think, we have alot of young promising players at those positions that can make an impact. Between Dave Ball, Jason Jones, Williams Hayes, Tony Brown, and Jacob Ford there were 23 sacks among them and all of them besides Tony Brown are in the 4th year or less. And no duh the Chargers won't get the #1 seed if those 3 do good, but let me tell you this. The only team among those 4 that have a good shot at getting the #1 seed is the Patriots. People need to get off the AFC North bandwagon, if any of them play against the Titans in the playoffs this year, they're in for a beating.

I'm curious. How could anyone in their right mind choose the Vikings. The niners are a young team with a great running back, Frank Gore, and a constantly improving QB. Also what noone talks about is their improving defense. Sure when Spencer is not in the game they give up 400 yards passing every time but in most games this year it has been pretty good. With a young team you can always expect setbacks.

Being objective and where things stand right now, I'd go for the 49er offense and the Viking defense.

49ers. I have watched Alex Smith since college and knew he was going to be something special. Hes a great athlete. And niner fans will see great things from him. That 2nd TD Pass he had to Gore. I had to watch that over an over about 6 times....It was almost a little reminiscent of Steve Young.....Breaks a tackle, scrambles out of it...throws on the run..Hits his target...It was about as good as it gets........ Nolan is doing what he said. He is building a team around Alex. So much young talent. And Frank Gore that guy is so kickass. The defense did a fantastic job especially when they stopped Max Strong last night........They are a young team on the rise. Go niners....

49ers, because their average age is well under 28, which is really young, and they can getting better and better. the Vikings however doesn't have as much young people that will improve, and will need a few years of drafts to get new potential, the niners already have the young people, and i give them one more draft and free agency to get competitive.
also the niners are WAY under the salary cap, which allows to sign alot more people coming free acency, especially since alot of high name people are on their contract year
