Microwaves have more effect on the edges of the food, because they are stronger there, which is why you can burn the edges of something in the microwave and still have a cold middle if you don't stir and turn it.
So to answer your question, either turn or flip the Hot pocket half way through the heating, so the electromagnetic waves can get through the whole object. OR try heating it a bit longer, maybe your microwave is expelling waves because its an older model, or if you slam the door shut, it can loosen it.

Microwaves cook from the inside out, meaning instead of heating food from the outside, like a toaster oven, it excites water molecules inside the food. However... it starts heating the food closer to microwaves. So say if your heating a piece of bread.. it's really thin, and it warms the bread up really quick. But say you're heating up a pot pie. Well it heats the outer crust first. It's still cooking it from the inside, but only the outer area of the pot pie. It takes a while for the microwaves to reach the food in the center of the pot pie.
I hope that makes sense to you all. It cooks food from the inside out, but it still takes a while for the microwaves to reach the food buried in the center of the pot pie.

Beats me! Our microwave baffles me. Sometimes I'll put food in on a plate and when I get it out the plate will be blazing hot and the food is ice cold. Then the next day I can put the EXACT same thing in and when I get it out the plate is cold and the food is hot. Go figure....

It depends on the density of the item in the microwave, since the density of the filling is greater than the density of the bread ,it takes longer to cook the flilling, therefore hard overdone bread and popscicle filling! Try a regular oven!

It's a conspiracy that the good makes of Hot Pockets have done. They want you to fry the outsides just so the middle will be warm. :|

because it is frozen...denser in the middle. Set your microwave to defrost first for 8 minutes (power level 2) so the thing defrosts all the way, then heat normally.

It is a conspiracy by the microwave peeple and the HotPocket peeple and the electricity peeple. If it takes longer for you to heat up yer HotPocket, then you will use more electricity, which means the electricity peeple will get more money, which they will then share with the microwave peeple and the HotPocket peeple.
