I didn't know how many people are throwing them into their T.V's because I think my parents are buying me one. they asked me if i wanted a PS3 or a Wii and i want a Wii but I'm afraid that I might break the T.V. because i might get to excited playing zelda. lol

You will almost certainly not have a problem with the Wii strap. I saw online that somebody did a test where they hung like 12 textbooks off of the Wiimote strap and it still did not break. I have no idea how people break those things. I think the problem is people not wearing the straps. As long as you wear the strap, you will not have a problem. If you are really worried, Nintendo will send you a replacement strap with thicker string for free. You can go to wii.nintendo.com and find the order form.
You will definitely love the Wii so don't be afraid to play. Zelda also isn't a game that will make you go crazy. It seems that Wii Sports is the one that is making people break televisions.

The Wii has cheap plastic so if u hit the T.V the control might break or get messed up.

The wii is great but the controller is skrewed up. it easily slips out of your hand so just make shure that your hands arnt swetty or anything like that and make shure you strecth and like arnt near to any objects that you can accedentlly hit while playing LOL.

The problems are not that big. Just dont stand really far from your tv (incase you do get to excited) and do at the warning thing says. if your hand gets sweaty dry your hands (and the controler) and start to play again.

the only reason people are gettin hurt by the controlers is because they mess about with them. the wii is cool.
