My boyfriend and I are TTC, and I'm having all the symptoms of being pregnant... but I started my period. It's really light, but I'm experiencing cramps; could I still be pregnant?

it is possible to have a light bleed and slight cramping and be pregnant. Most women feel light cramping throughout the first few months, as the uterus begins to stretch...the bleeding (if you're pregnant) could be caused by your natural hormones which trigger your period: a lot of women bleed regularly throughout pregnancy at the time of their period.

If by a really light period you mean one or two days of very light brownish-pink spotting, than you could be pregnant and this could be implantation bleeding.
If you have a normal period (3-7 days, red blood, fairly normal flow), you are not pregnant. I don't know what people are thinking when they give different answers, but you cannot have your period and be pregnant -- it's impossible. If you get your period when you are pregnant it's called a miscarriage. The shedding of the lining of the uterus makes it impossible for an egg to implant.

First things... first take a home pregnancy. After that if you still have the same symptoms, I would go to the doctor to get a blood pregnancy test done. Just to be on the safe side of things because home pregnancy test don't always predict pregnancy.

twzzlrgirl is wrong my aunt had her period the entire time she was pregnant with my cousin. It was not as heavy as a normal flow but it was there. So you can have a period while pregnant

Nope , your not pregnant i thought the same thing last month...i swore i was pregnant cause my period was 1 week late and i was really sick throwing up and everything.......but it was just my head playing tricks on me cause i wanted it so bad......but keep trying good luck...........
