Well, probably not besides getting a job which would help you in more than one way.

Welfare is there to help folks who need help for a temporary time limit. You could use it while you are getting an education so that you are better able to support your children.

If you become a contributing member of society after that, the country is a better place. If you go back to the loser in prison, it is a flaw with our welfare system.

That is what welfare is for.

What does your ex's prison status matter? There is no charity for the children of felons that I am aware of.

Don't think so, it's too bad, maybe get a part-time job if welfare will help with daycare and continue giving you money and food stamps. I know it's a tough situation.

You can't depend on anyone but yourself. Get a job and you can get help paying for daycare through the children's home society.

a job usually comes with a paycheck...one of the fringe benefits...besides meeting some nicer and more legit people...move on....

see if he wants to sell his details. for example, an illegal immigrant can assume his identity to work and what not. people are willing to pay a few thousand quid for something like that. its dodgy but its not like hes doing anything with his privaleges anyway
