Everyone, including yourself, have made mistakes and so deserve another chance. Life is too short to not be tolerant of others misjudgments and/or mistakes. And what a drag it would be if people did not screw up the odd time. We are suppose to learn from our mistakes and as my boss so graciously says 1 time is a mistake, twice is a habit but three times is a lifestyle. So if we learn after the first time then there should be no reason to repeat this behaviour or whatever again.

That is exactly the problem with Second Chances. You don't KNOW if that person deserves it, and the only way you are going to find out is if you give them that second chance. They are either going to prove that they did deserve it, or you end up getting screwed again. You take the gamble, or you decide not to, and move on.

Hey, everyone deserves a second chance. Not knowing full
source of the problem, sometimes people ly to keep from hurting the ones they love. No real harm done. However, it should be a
communication thing where the person can explain why they lied and of course, please don't do again.

yes they do...they deserve more then 2 people make mistakes and sometimes it takes people a long time to realize they have done something wrong, if you did something or many things to break up a relationship with someone maybe a friendship or a romantic relationship wouldnt you like a second or more chances to make that relationship work out...?

i do think that if you can get the trust back that you had for the person then yes they deserve a second chance to prove to you that they really have changed then after the second chance i'd say that was it. no more. cause if he keep giving chances he'll keep doing what he's doing tell him to make this chance count cause its his last one.

Yes, I believe they do. But don't just forgive them right away, make them work for it. They have to prove their friendship before getting a second chance.

That is totally dependent upon you. I believe you should forgive, inorder to move forward in your own life. However, do you give him a second chance? Do you feel he deserves a second chance? that is the only opinion that really matters (yours). Good luck and God bless****

I think so. I know I would like to have one if I was truly sorry and had repented.
We all make mistakes..
Just go into it with your eyes wide open if you do decide to give them that second chance.
