I used to think I was thick skinned until I came out of my comfort zone.
Now I take things personally when I know that I shouldn't and I tend to get all upset and emotional because the people who I really know care about me aren't around me.

It is not a matter of being thick or thin skinned but of determiniung that you will not let other people determine your worth.
By all means listen to criticism (constructive or otherwise) but do not let other people's attitudes dicate yours.
You are an individual. Be proud of that. Be yourself.
PS If there are things that you ought to change then do do because YOU know it is right.

I think I have a thicker skin than a thin one. But I can still be hurt by some comments or criticisms. I try to take things as they are given to me. If I believe it is said of malaise I react In kind.

I'm very sensitive and suffer terribly if I feel that someone has criticised me.
Stupid for a mature person but a very difficult fault to get rid of.
Comes from a disturbed childhood I suppose.

Pretty thick - if someone mentions a critisism that I can potentially fix...that just makes me a better person! Unless they say something about the size of my butt - ain't no fixin that!
