You need to buy new springs..but you need to do all 4, front & rear.

Watch out for people telling you that you will have to buy special springs too, as its bollox....you can lower a car by up to 60mm with standard shocks.

Check out www.demon-tweeks.co.uk for a list of all units available for your car...you can prob get it done for about £100....incl. parts & labour

Someone mentioned that you can cut the normal stock suspension by up to 60mm - this is true but please don't follow this advise. This will make the handling of the car really bad and could also be unsafe - it's just a cheap fix to achieve a better (low) look.
There are loads of after market suspension kits available for the Peugeot 106. Prices range from approx 50 quid for a new set of specially made shorter and usually stiffer springs to well over a 1000 pounds for a set of race grade adjustable coil over’s.I think a company called APEX does a set of relatively cheap lowering springs for your car. I'm sure a quick Google search will bring up loads of suppliers. You should also consider up rating your shock absorbers for even better road handling.

To lower the rear wheels you would need to get a pair of lowerings springs. They range from around 1 to 3 inch lower. They cost around 50 bucks.
